The purported names and addresses of the grand jurors responsible for indicting former President Donald Trump and 18 others on state racketeering charges have surfaced on a fringe website that often promotes violent rhetoric, according to NBC News sources. The focus of the indictment was their alleged involvement in attempting to overturn the 2020 election.

The website, which is not being named to prevent further dissemination of this sensitive information, displayed the addresses of the Fulton County grand jury members. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office declined to comment on the situation. The district attorney, Fani Willis, has previously faced racist threats and consequently heightened security measures were implemented.

The revelation of the grand jurors' personal information was brought to light by Advance Democracy, a nonpartisan research group founded by Daniel J. Jones, a former FBI investigator and a staffer for the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee. Jones expressed concern about the trend of everyday citizens involved in democratic processes becoming targets of violent threats from Trump-supporting extremists. He criticized the absence of decisive action from political leaders to condemn these threats, which he believes can potentially incite real-world political violence.

Advance Democracy also identified instances of users posting the names and images of individuals they believe to be grand jurors on various social media platforms. These posts alleged connections between the jurors and political figures such as Senators Bernie Sanders and Raphael Warnock, former President Barack Obama, and the Black Lives Matter movement.

It's important to note that the names of the grand jury members are publicly available due to the indictment, but the indictment does not include their addresses or other private details.

Since the indictment, the grand jurors have faced criticism and threats. Trump supporters on a pro-Trump forum reportedly commented on the jurors, accusing them of falsely indicting Trump and insinuating dire consequences.

Authorities, including the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and the FBI, have refrained from commenting on the matter. The grand jury indictment marks the fourth criminal indictment against the former president.
