The indictment filed by Fulton County against former President Donald Trump and 18 additional co-defendants has not only detailed the alleged criminal conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election but has also highlighted the involvement of 30 "unindicted co-conspirators." These individuals, as asserted by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, are believed to have played a role in the conspiracy. While some co-conspirators remain unnamed, several have been identified, with varying degrees of involvement.

The list includes prominent Trump advisers and likely Georgia officials who acted as the state's fabricated electors for Donald Trump. Key figures among the unindicted co-conspirators include Boris Epshteyn, who was a political adviser to Trump, and Georgia's Republican Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, who appears multiple times in the indictment.

The concept of unindicted co-conspirators refers to individuals who are not formally charged but are believed to have participated in the alleged criminal activity. Legal experts indicate that this label is often used to protect the reputation and identity of uncharged individuals, while sometimes pressuring them to cooperate before potential indictment.

By analyzing the indictment and additional documents, CNN has been able to identify many of these co-conspirators:

  1. Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch is identified as "Co-conspirator 1." An email exchange revealed Fitton's involvement in drafting a statement regarding the election outcome.

  2. Boris Epshteyn, a Trump political adviser ("Co-conspirator 3"), appeared at a press conference in November 2020 and exchanged emails related to the strategy for overturning the election.

  3. Robert Sinners, Trump's Georgia election day operations lead ("Co-conspirator 4"), was involved in election-related emails and communications.

  4. Bernie Kerik, former NYPD Commissioner ("Co-conspirator 5"), took part in meetings in Pennsylvania and Arizona about contesting election results.

  5. GOP operative Phil Waldron ("Co-conspirator 6") participated in a meeting at the White House and communicated about election data.

  6. Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones ("Co-conspirator 8") re-tweeted a post calling for a special session and appeared as a fake elector.

  7. Former Georgia Republican Party Treasurer Joseph Brannan ("Co-conspirator 9") received emails related to fake electors' preparations.

  8. Georgia GOP officials Carolyn Fisher and Vikki Consiglio ("Co-conspirators 10 and 11") were involved in planning and preparing fake electors' certificates.

Additionally, 13 of the co-conspirators served as fake electors, with some actively participating in election-related activities. The list of these unindicted co-conspirators also includes Conan Hayes and Todd Sanders, related to Byrne's America Project, and individuals linked to Coffee County voting machines.

Despite the revelation of these co-conspirators' identities, legal proceedings and investigations are ongoing, with further developments expected to shed light on their potential roles and culpability.
